Reflecting On World Mental Health Day With Purple Planet Packaging

World Mental Health Day was observed on 10th October 2025 but here at Purple Planet Packaging, we believe that mental wellbeing deserves attention every single day of the year. The day serves as an important reminder that kindness, awareness and connection can go a long way, both in our personal lives and in our communities. Whilst the event may have passed, the conversation around mental health continues and we’re proud to do our part in supporting it through our brand-new Charity Christmas Cups campaign.

Continuing The Message Of World Mental Health Day

The message behind World Mental Health Day is simple yet powerful — mental health matters, always. This year’s theme focused on making mental health and wellbeing a universal human right, encouraging everyone to look out for themselves and for those around them. At Purple Planet Packaging, we’re taking that message to heart by combining sustainability with social impact.

Our Charity Christmas Cups are more than just festive designs, they’re part of a meaningful movement. For every case sold, we donate £2 to Coventry, Warwickshire & Worcestershire Mind, helping to fund essential mental health services within our local community. It’s our way of turning eco-friendly packaging into a source of support, compassion and hope during the festive season.

Giving Back Through Sustainable Choices

After World Mental Health Day, many businesses look for ways to carry its positive message forward. What better way to do that than by making environmentally and socially conscious choices? Our limited-edition Charity Christmas Cups are fully recyclable, home-compostable and made from Delipac board, which means they’re as kind to the planet as they are to people.

They’re perfect for festive coffees, hot chocolates or winter warmers, offering both sustainability and style. Every sip becomes a small act of kindness, helping to reduce waste whilst directly supporting mental health initiatives in our region. It’s a reminder that even small business decisions can make a big difference to both the environment and our communities.

Everyday Awareness

Although World Mental Health Day only lasts 24 hours, the importance of self-care, empathy and balance should last all year round. At Purple Planet Packaging, we’re passionate about building an environment where doing good feels natural, from choosing renewable, plant-based materials to supporting charities that make a difference.

Mental health awareness isn’t just about grand gestures; it’s about the daily choices that make life a little better. Whether it’s a friendly chat with a colleague over coffee or choosing sustainable packaging that reflects your brand’s values, every action counts.

Celebrate The Season Sustainably

Our Charity Christmas Cups are available now, just in time for the festive season! Whether you run a café, coffee van or corporate catering business, these limited-edition cups are a simple, heartfelt way to give back whilst spreading festive cheer. They’re proof that sustainability and compassion can go hand in hand, creating a positive impact that lasts well beyond the Christmas rush.

Keeping The Spirit Of World Mental Health Day Alive
